A Flower girl is a participant in a wedding procession and usually she is a member of the bride or grooms family.  Typically the flower girl will walk ahead of the bride during the bridal procession, simply carrying a bouquet of flowers or spreading flower petals.

There may be more than one flower girl at a wedding and usually the age range of a flower girl is between four and eight years of age but they may be older.
